Put a spare old phone next to your aquarium and it watches the tank around the clock. It alerts you right away to power outages, a stopped pump, fish gasping at the surface or a device going offline, and lets you check the live view from anywhere.

About
Our name, Luanshi (峦势), comes from Wang Bo’s Preface to the Pavilion of Prince Teng, a classical Chinese essay from the 7th century: “Halls of cassia and palaces of orchid follow the lie of the hills and ridges.” The buildings do not reshape the mountains; they unfold along the rise and fall of the land.
Our domain, zhiyunms, is short for the pinyin of 志云妙思 (zhì yún miào sī). The same essay says, “Even in hardship, never let go of an aspiration as high as the clouds.” We pair it with miào sī, ingenious thinking, into a line of our own: aim as high as the clouds, and think for ourselves. Aiming high means setting the bar above where it usually sits. Thinking for ourselves means not taking the usual way of doing things, or the received wisdom, as given, and looking for the more ingenious answer.
That is how we want to build software: fitting technology into the way people already live, instead of asking them to bend around it. Keepova is one example. No new hardware, just an old phone from the drawer.
We are a small team, so we take our time. Every feature is tested on older phones, weak networks and long-running sessions before it reaches our users.
